Shirodhara is a highly effective treatment for calming the nervous system, increasing blood flow to the brain, reducing anxiety, relieving a host of ailments of the head and brain including insomnia, headache, migraine, hair loss, hearing loss, vertigo, neurological disorders, anxiety, depression, tinnitus, jet lag, hypertension, neck and shoulder tension.
A shirodhara treatment consists of a continuous stream of warm oil over the forehead and scalp, penetrating into the nervous system. The gentle pressure and soothing warmth of the oil allow the body, mind and nervous system to experience a deep state of rest, similar to meditation.
$85 first or single treatment; $75 per subsequent treatment when your oil is re-used.
While a single shirodhara can be a profoundly relaxing and rejuvenative therapy, the effects are cumulative; each treatment tends to yield a deeper experience. Four-treatment packages are available for $280 (a savings of $30)
